National Read to Your Unborn Baby Month (May 2017)

According to the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), a divison of the U.S. Department of Education 1, children who are read to at home enjoy a substantial advantage over children who are not.

Only 53 percent of children ages three to five were read to daily by a family member (1999). Children in families with incomes below the poverty line are less likely to be read to aloud everyday than are children in families with incomes at or above poverty.
The more types of reading materials there are in the home, the higher students are in reading proficiency, according to the Educational Testing Service.
The Educational Testing Services reported that students who do more reading at home are better readers and have higher math scores; however, students read less for fun as they get older. (Cited from http://www.nea.org/grants/facts-about-childrens-literacy.html)

Having worked in the educational school system for almost 20 years, I learned that there were some children who needed more attention than others when it came to teaching them how to read and even do math problems.
As a mother, I began reading to my now grown children while they were in my womb and by the time they were in elementary, they were reading extremely above their average reading levels.
I am a believer that the environment you create for your unborn and born babies are affected inside as well as outside, therefore I have been approved to proclaim the month of May as "National Read to Your Unborn Baby Month" by National Day Calendar online (www.nationaldaycalendar.com). This is a great honor and achievement as they receive over 18,000 applications each year and only approve about 30! There has been a GoFundMe campaign setup: https:// www.gofundme.com/read-to-your-unborn-baby-month to help with the cost of the development of this National month or you may go to (https://www.amazon.com/) to buy the children's book "Sorry, This Book is All Out of Words" that will also help with the development cost. Your support will be gratefully appreciated.
Let's expect an amazing positive outcome worldwide for children's literacy through this project.
